Future Farmers of America

What is FFA?

FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education -- this is the main goal of the National FFA organization. For more than 72 years, the FFA has continued to be an integral part of agricultural instruction by making classroom lessons come to life through realistic applications. FFA has grown from 33 members in 1928 to 451,997 members in all 50 states.

Who can join FFA?

All students in grades 9-12 can join this organization. By belonging to FFA, these students can experience the concept of teamwork and gain the knowledge it takes to be a lifelong learner. Through FFA, students can sharpen their leadership skills as well as build their confidence and self-esteem. In addition, FFA service projects promote community pride within our local chapter.
